'''Vulpkanin''', often referred to just "Vulp" or "Vulpkin" canonically have Red-Green (Protan/Deutan) Colourblindness and deal both blunt and slash damage with their melee attack. '''Vulps''' have insulated fur that greatly reduces how quickly they begin to take cold damage, most often taken whilst taking a spacewalk without a spacesuit, in exchange for taking 15% more heat damage. They can also eat any type of food

Due to their insulated fur, '''Vulpkanin''' can not be put into a cryostasis pod to cool them down. They require a Hellfire freezer or you can put them into a space tile in order to bring the body's temperature down to 150 Kelvin. This can easily be done within medbay with an RCD to deconstruct the floor and holofans to prevent the room to be spaced. You can then move the body over the tile and inject [https://wiki.spacestation14.com/wiki/Reagents#chem_Opporozidone Opporozidone] manually into the patient (Be it a Syringe or a Hypospray).

Cybernetic Beasts are a sub-species of '''Vulpkanin''' that have incredibly poor eyesight. they have a piece of headgear (referred to as a Mantle) that corrects the eyesight issues and provides them with togglable night vision action. The mantle itself is a 4 by 4 item that can be a target for thieves. Most jobs will provide the mantle itself with integrated systems to preform their job (Medical gets medhud, the Chief Engineer gets Lead plating, sealed and internals, Corpsman gets medsec etc.). The eyes of the mantle change based on the wearer's eye colour (unless they're not a cyberbeast).
