The Syndicate

 The Syndicate is a terrorist organization formed to sabotage NanoTrasen. There are many factions within the Syndicate, but they are all equally threatening when operating in Appalia.

The Syndicate is a co-op of various, mostly disconnected groups with one common ground: They all wish for the destruction of NanoTrasen. The Syndicate exists solely to sabotage NanoTrasen through violent and treacherous means. The Syndicate is lead by the Syndicate High Command, who we know little about. Syndicate High Command is likely just made up of major representatives from each faction of the Syndicate. High Command is likely headed by Cybersun Industries, who are the main member of the Syndicate.

Relations

• CelTek provides a significant amount of money to the Syndicate for their own purposes.
• The average person knows very little about the Syndicate.

Internal Factions

The Syndicate is made up of many groups. Below is a chart of every major group within the Syndicate, their goals, and their allegiances. Please keep in mind that although this group makes up most Traitors, it is NOT all-encompassing. Many traitors have no relation to the Syndicate at all.

Bee Liberation Front	To prove to the syndicate that their faction is the more important one, deserving of support - to free bees from their slavery under NanoTrasen.	Believes that the Animal Rights Consortium is not being helpful, and is scared that the ARC will take over if they cannot prove their group's importance.
Cybersun Industries	To destroy NanoTrasen to remove their monopoly on Phoron and their grip over the field of Robotics.	Believes other Syndicate groups can be used as tools but are not trustworthy, except for members of MI13.
Donk Co.	To destroy NanoTrasen; Donk Co. has a contract with NanoTrasen that forces them to continue to ship product to them at unprofitable rates.	STRICT rivalry to Waffle Co.. Interested in killing Waffle Co. agents whenever the opportunity arises.
Gorlex Marauder	To be paid money for attacking NanoTrasen. They notably do this in the form of Nuclear Operatives.	Willing to work with other members of the syndicate, but believes that the Tiger Cooperative is untrustworthy.
MI13	Unclear, besides the fact that they want to destroy NanoTrasen and seem to not want to be known about. Acts like a secret society.	Believes they can only truly trust Cybersun.
Waffle Co.	Various, unclear interests in the destruction of NanoTrasen.	STRICT rivalry to Donk Co.. Interested in killing Donk Co. agents whenever the opportunity arises.
Neuluthiv Federation	To prove themselves to the Space Wizards Federation and cause general chaos.	Is simply a part of the Syndicate because they benefit from the Syndicate by receiving resources and the Syndicate benefits by the damage caused to NanoTrasen.

The Syndicate in Appalia

The Syndicate is being given extremely large sums of money by the CelTek group, with the explicit direction to cause as much harm to NanoTrasen within the Appalia sector as possible to breakdown talks and cause NanoTrasen and the Appalia Trade Council.
