Service

Service is a department that features a wide variety of downtime and RP-focused jobs, such as bartender, chaplain, or the infamous clown. The Head of Personnel is in charge of this department, though they are likely to be less hands on than other command roles as they attend to their duties.

Often, cargo will ask for help with bounties from these jobs, as they are in charge of food and plants, which are quite common bounty categories.

Jobs

Bartender

Prepare and serve drinks, make conversation about the crew member's shifts, and break up bar fights with your beanbag-filled double barrel shotgun.

Botany

Tend to plants, grow your garden, and harvest useful items for the station. Use mutagen to mutate plants into new species and change their genes.

Chaplain

Help the crew with their religious needs, perform funerals and rites, and help security deal with magical threats to the station.

Chef

Cook food, butcher monkeys for meat, or whatever else the crew brings to you.

Clown

Slip people, throw pies, and generally make the crew laugh, then get beat up when no one finds you funny, and share more awful jokes while being patched up in medbay.

Mime

Sometimes rival, and sometimes friend, of the clown. They have the same duties, but have the ability to place invisible walls, at the cost of their vow of silence.

Janitor

Clean up messes, pick up trash, and generally ensure the station is kept clean. Extremely important for space lube attacks.

Librarian

Speaks every language, letting them assist in translations. Other than that, they help people at the library.

Musician

Play music for people, that's about it.

Radio Host

Be the DJ for the station's radio station, host talk shows, and play annoying ads over and over.
