IPC

An IPC (Integrated Positronic Chassis), is a type of sentient robot and is considered an Independent Individual, meaning they are notguided by any laws of robotics.

IPC's cannot be hacked by Emags because they do not have to follow any predefined directives in their system.

IPCs are silicon-based beings, they are usually healed by Science or Engineering instead of Medical.

Hardware

Positive

IPCs take 20% less brute damage, 60% less radiation damage.

Due to IPCs being silicon-based beings, They have no bones and will not suffer from breakage due to high amounts of damage to a limb, They can still lose limbs though.

IPCs are resistant to low pressures, but they are not immune to them.

Being a robot, IPCs don't need food or water to function at full capacity, instead needing power in the form of power cells.

Negative

IPCs take 70% more heat damage and 100% more shock damage.

Recharging an IPC

IPCs can be recharged in 3 different ways

APC Terminals: IPCs can use APC Terminals to recharge. Pressing Alt + Left Click on a terminal as many times as they need to full recharge.

Cyborg Rechargers: IPCs can use Cyborg Rechargers to refill their battery, it's recommended to use ones outside of Sci to avoid headaches, you can sometimes find one in the restroom.

Power Cells: IPCs can drink energy from power cells to charge their internal battery. Right Click and select Drain on a power cell or battery powered device to drink from it.

Integrated Radio

IPCs do not use external radios because they already have one built in. They only need to get an encryption key from a radio. By clicking on an IPC with a wire cutter, you can remove their keys. You can find new keys around the station or remove one from a headset using a screwdriver.

Repairing an IPC

Welders can be used to repair Brute damage.

Cables can be used to repair Burns.

Glass sheets can be used to repair Blindness.

Coolant Bottles can be used to replenish Coolant level.

In the event an IPC dies, after being fully repaired, it should be restarted using the "Restart" button (located by right-clicking).

DO NOT ELECTROCUTE AN IPC with a defibrillator or any other way while they are dead, this will cause the battery to discharge energy rays outward!
