Medical can be very vital to a station's function, by keeping people from dying, or bringing them back from the dead.

Triage

In emergencies, there may not be enough medical staff to heal everyone who needs it at the same time, or even enough medicine! In such scenarios, it is important to prioritize care where it can do the most good.

Generally, this is a good priority to follow if there are multiple crew in need of healing:

1. Crew in Critical condition: they will constantly take damage while crit, if they die most chems will be ineffective, and they will need to be revived via a defibrillator, taking more time.
2. Alive Crew involved in fighting (security, or armed crew): They will deal with the threat and keep medical safe
3. Dead Medical staff: Dead doctors can't heal people! Even at a single health point a doctor kept safe in medical can constantly heal crewmembers.
