A Bartender's job is to serve drinks at the bar. But of course, the best bartenders go beyond that and listen to the crewmember's woes and stories.

Drinks

Making drinks is, for the most part, uncomplicated. Simply open the guidebook (or use the in game drink book, for more immersion) and add the liquids required in the recipe. As with all chemicals, the recipes are shown proportionally, a drink that requires 1u of two different drinks will still work at 5u, 10u, or 15u of those two drinks, but will instead make more of it. However, for some more complicated drinks, this is provided:

Bacchus's Blessing

This drink gives an enormous amount of alcohol, and can overdose very quickly. It is made from an equal amount of Hooch, Absinthe, Manly Dorf, and Syndicate Bomb.

For the hooch, ethanol can be acquired from cutting the manager wire on your alcohol vendor (see: guide to hacking), universal enzyme is acquired from the chef, and welding fluid is available in welding tanks in maintenance tunnels. The syndicate bomb, manly dorf, and absinthe are fairly easy to make from your alcohol vendor.

Atomic Precision

Made from an equal combination of 30 different drinks, this is quite an achievement of bartending. When atleast 25u is present in your system you will have a total DNA scramble, giving you a new identity. Atomic precision also deals genetic damage, which can be hard to fix.

You will need a dropper to properly portion out the tiny amounts of each drink to fit in a shaker. Alternatively chem master/portable chem mixer will let you fix mistakes easily as well as portion it out properly.

Kitchen Sink

The simplest way is to ask for a cryo beaker from science or medical, the cryo beaker prevents liquids combining inside it. Stick 1u of everything from both the alcoholic and non-alcoholic machines into the beaker and dump it all into a shaker. When you shake it, you should have some kitchen sink!

Useful things

Bartender isn't just cocktails, if you are playing as an antagonist, (or need to counter a station-wide threat) there are multiple things you can do:

By default, a shotgun, beanbag rounds, and an armored vest will be in your booze locker, as well as flash-resistant sunglasses. Combined with the bandolier from the BarDrobe, and some deadlier shotgun shells, you can be an absolute menace. You can create improvised shotgun shells in the construction menu (G, by default), ask security for shells, or emag your BarDrobe for two of them. You might want some head protection though! Also, you can use a saw on your shotgun to make it more compact, otherwise, stick it on your back.

Doctor's Delight is a drink that can fix almost all types of damage, this can extend your lifespan in fights, or help other people. It can be injected or drunk, but it only works on the living, leave the dead to medical! The tricordrazine for this recipe can easily be acquired in medical kits in the form of 10u pills, which can be dissolved into the drink when any amount of liquid is present.

Atomic precision can rewrite your DNA, gaining a new name and fingerprints, making you hard to find.

Finally, you can make flammable puddles with your drinks, and set them off with molotov cocktails, lighters, or just use them to slip the unwary. Warlock's velvet, from the manager wire, is the most flammable, with second place being a tie between absinthe, vodka, and whiskey.
