They tend to be foodies, and aren't big fans of wasting things, going as far with it as to often eat their own dead--though cooked.

History

Xelthia are a very recent addition to the galactic world. Their first contact with human and other extraterrestrials occured sometime near the year 2347. Xelthia originate from some sort of marshland planet, likely quite warm. Xelthia are said to be either hesitant to interact with these new societies any more than is needed for them or eager to make a difference in the galaxy.

Gameplay

  • Higher heat tolerance and lower heat damage.
  • Lower cold tolerance and higher cold damage.
  • Carnivores (notably, one of the few carnivorous species that cannot eat raw meat. They must cook meat in order to eat it without becoming ill.)

Acid Blood

Xelthia have strong, slick, acidic blood. This is likely somehow a result of adapting to the somewhat toxic marshy environment of their home world.

  • Xelthia blood is a blueish-lime green and is incredibly slippery.
  • Intaking Xelthia blood (even as a Xelthia, strangely enough) will poison the person who has it in their system.
  • Xelthia are immune to most toxic damage as a result of their toxic blood.

Tentacles

Xelthia have tentacles and no hands. This causes several different effects for them:

  • Xelthia can drop their current tentacles and regrow them fairly often. This will obviously regrow any missing limbs arms they have (not legs) and will leave behind the tentacle to be eaten for what is inexplicably an INCREASE in energy.
  • Xelthia cannot wear any form of gloves. As they do not have hands, gloves simply will not fit on them. To have [Insulation|insulation] from shocks, Xelthia must wear an insulated jacket. To be able to safely perform surgery, they must have a surgical jacket. These will cover up the tentacles and keep them safe.
