Xelthia
They tend to be foodies, and aren't big fans of wasting things, going as far with it as to often eat their own dead--though cooked.

History
Xelthia are a very recent addition to the galactic world. Their first contact with human and other extraterrestrials occurred sometime near the year 2754. Xelthia originate from a very warm, marshland planet. Xelthia are generally "primitive" by galactic standards, not in intelligence, but in prior technology. The recent introduction to the culture of other species and, for the elder Xelthia, the recent introduction of more advanced technology, has brought great societal change to Xelthia. This leaves them in turmoil. Xelthia are said to be either hesitant to interact with these new societies or eager to make a difference in the galaxy; many Xelthia move away from their home planet to try to learn more about the galaxy around them.
Gameplay
- Higher heat tolerance and lower heat damage.
- Lower cold tolerance and higher cold damage.
- Carnivores, with quite large stomachs (though no need to eat more food to survive).
Acid Blood
Xelthia have strong, slick, acidic blood, as a result of their living in the toxic enviroments of their home planet.
- Xelthia blood is a blueish-lime green and is incredibly slippery.
- Intaking Xelthia blood (even as a Xelthia, strangely enough) will chemically burn the person who has it in their system.
- Xelthia are immune to most caustic damage as a result of their acid blood (This is applied very poorly, but often Xelthia will at least quickly heal caustic).
Tentacles
Xelthia have tentacles and no hands. This causes several different effects for them:
- Xelthia can drop their current tentacles and regrow them fairly often. This will obviously regrow any missing tentacles they have (not legs) and will leave behind the tentacle to be eaten. This takes food, but eating the dropped tentacles gives more energy than it takes to drop them, regardless of if they are cooked.
- Xelthia cannot wear any form of gloves. As they do not have hands, gloves simply will not fit on them. To have insulation from shocks, Xelthia must wear an insulated jacket. To be able to safely perform surgery, they must have a surgical jacket. These will cover up the tentacles and keep them safe.
